Digital Scavenger Hunt Exemplar

Cohesion

This image of a common water strider bug, Aquarius remigis, illustrates an important property of water - cohesion. Water molecules stick together through hydrogen bonding and this creates a surface tension allowing for many insects to sit on top of the water. This is one of water's life "supporting" qualities (pun intended!)
